What worship's like

What should you expect on a Sunday morning at Manchester UMC? What about the Saturday evening services? And the Connection Service on Wednesday?

We have diverse and frequent worship services that keep in mind that not everybody worships the same way.

If you'd like to see how our talented pastors preach the Message, head over to our online video page.

Would you like our traditional service?
We have two traditional worship services:

On Saturday evenings, expect an intimate atmosphere in our small, historic chapel. Music includes hymns backed by organ, and performances by our Chapel Choir. Seating in pews.

On Sunday mornings, experience God's Word in our large and modern sanctuary space. Music is provided by the chancel choir, our talented organists on our huge pipe organs, our handbell choirs, or other special guests. Hymns are sung by the congregation, too. Seating in pews.

Visit the traditional worship page for more details!

Would you like our contemporary service?
On Sunday mornings, our contemporary worship services are held in the Sanctuary. Enjoy the praise music of our band OneVoice. The sermons are often part of a series.

Visit the contemporary page for more details!

Would you like our Connection Service?
On Wednesday evenings, enjoy a mid-week spiritual booster in the form of a half-hour service in our large, open Sanctuary. The shorter service is focused on the message and piano-driven music.

Would you like a different worship service?
We are always open to new ways to celebrate the Glory of God through worship. If you have an idea for a worship style that would feel right for you, please let us know!
