Adult classes - 9 a.m.

Alpha Class | Room 223
Alpha uses Bible-centered curriculum that is appropriate for all levels of Bible knowledge. The format includes Bible readings, study books, and open discussion. Both in-church and outreach mission projects are supported each year. Members enjoy several social gatherings a year. Married or single people are welcome in this group. Applied Christianity | Room 312
This class uses a video tape series by PBS as a starting point for discussions on ethics and moral behavior from a Christian viewpoint. The study’s focus is on the slippery slope of principals in conflict and requires the participants to determine their own individual moral position. This is a discussion format which enables people to participate easily even if they cannot attend regularly. Roger Wooden 314.576.1124 leads this class.

Christian Couples Fellowship | Room 309
The Christian Couples Fellowship is a 30-something couples class that enjoys fellowship throughout the year as we learn about the Bible and our relationship with God, family, friends and each other. We further enjoy fellowship through social activities about once a month. Our service efforts are dedicated to raising money for the church and charities through an annual trivia night. Joy Class | Room 141
Members of the Joy Class are senior adults enjoying their retirement days. The class utilizes the Adult Bible Study Series. We engage in mission activities and a variety of social events throughout the year. Dick Behrends 636.227.2856 leads the class.

New Directions | Room 311
New Directions Sunday School class is open to all adults in any stage of life. Topics vary from in-depth Bible study to current events and will be taught by a rotation of teachers. We come together for mission, study and fellowship in Christ. Class coordinators are Dennis and Julee Breakstone 636.978.2419.

Sojourner’s Class | Room 219
Sojourner’s is an intergenerational class with members in their late 20’s through retirement. The curriculum used by the class focuses on books of the Bible and provides members the opportunity to engage in concentrated studies. The class engages in various mission activities and enjoys social events throughout the year. Bill Cleveland 636.527.7927 is our leader.

Spiritual Pilgrims | Room 221
This is an exciting spiritual pilgrimage through time for adults of all ages, married or single, via short studies and lively discussions of the great theologians, philosophers, and writers since the dawn of Christianity. Contact Norma and Merrill Pope 636.458.3338.

Adult Singles Class | Room 309
A Bible study class for single adults aged 40+. The class engages in studies based on a book of the Bible or on a particular Biblical topic. Call Ralph Burns 636.225.9253 for more information.

Ambassadors for Christ | Room 222
This newly formed class is for adults who wish to discuss the content and application of the sermon that was just given in the 9 a.m. Contemporary Service. No homework or preparation required so just come as you are. Contact Hal and Susan Miller at 636.256.6601.

Just Matters | Room 223

Friendship Class | Room 219
A Sunday School class designed for special needs persons who are ages 18 or over. Focus is on Bible stories. Contact church office at 636.394.7506 for more information.

Adult class - 6 p.m.

20/30 Vision | Room 310
This class is designed to help people in their 20s and 30s find their niche within the Manchester family. This class is made up of singles and couples, as well as people who are in graduate school and those who have full time jobs.
