Delve into the intersection of science and faith with author and professor, Dr. Paul Wallace as he shares insights from his new book, Stars Beneath Us.
Dr. Wallace is an astrophysicist and professor at Agnes Scott College in Atlanta. He holds a Ph.D. in experimental nuclear physics from Duke University and then concentrated his study on gamma-ray astronomy. After serving as a professor of physics and astronomy at Berry College, Wallace returned to Atlanta, earning a Master of Divinity from Candler School of Theology. He regularly teaches at Candler and Columbia Theological Seminaries.
In addition to the keynote on Sat., Dr. Wallace with engage in a dialogue sermon with Pastor Greg Weeks on Sun., April 23 at 8, 9:30 & 11 a.m., Room 141. The sermon, entitled “Who Really Is God?”, will be based on perhaps the strangest and most interesting book of the Bible: Job. Following the sermon at noon will be a short Lunch & Learn.
