Are you seeking the opportunity for your child to participate in an accredited early childhood program that lovingly nurtures all of God’s children to their fullest potential? If so, then MUMC Circle of Friends is the place for them to be.  For more information or to schedule a school tour, please call 636-394-6867.  More registration info is available by clicking here.

Manchester United Methodist Church Preschool was established in 1967 under the sponsorship of the church to fulfill a need for early childhood education. The Mom's Day Out program was established in 1976 as a parent and teacher cooperative program. To meet the needs of the current community, the two programs were combined in 1995 and renamed as Circle of Friends. This year, our Preschool Program will serve children 3 - 6 years old, and our Junior Preschool Program (formerly Mom’s Day Out) will serve children 1 - 3 years old. All classes are staffed by two qualified teachers. We maintain the high standards emphasized by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.

PHILOSOPHY
Our belief is that all children should have the opportunity to grow and learn to their fullest potential.  We recognize each child as an unique individual with particular patterns of growth affecting their development.  We will assist children in building a positive self-concept by providing developmentally appropriate experiences and by being responsive to their individual differences.  The program will provide children and adults a chance to work individually and cooperatively in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.  Through active hands-on, process oriented learning, the children will develop socially, emotionally, intellectually, spiritually and physically.

MISSION
To provide to Manchester United Methodist Church and its surrounding community an Early Childhood Program that lovingly nurtures God's children to their fullest potential.
