Meal-a-Month Ministry
The purpose of the Meal-a-Month ministry is to provide food for those in our community who don't have the resources to buy enough food. Each person or family is encouraged to bring one meal each month and deposit it in the barrels at the Collection Connection site. This is located near the church office.
The food must be non-perishable and in unbreakable containers.
It is then distributed evenly to two area food pantires: Metro Homeless Center and Family Services, and Circle of Concern. Meal-a-Month bags and menus are available for you at the Collection Connection. Menus are also printed in the bulletin each week and on the last page of TheMessenger. However, you are more than welcome to make your own menu and bring in any food items you wish, considering the above stipulations.
