Are you looking for a quick, easy way to share your enthusiasm for our church with a first time visitor?  As a "mugger" you deliver a goodie bag containing a travel mug, and a music sampler tape along with a big smile and a hearty "Thanks for visiting MUMC" to first time visitors at their homes. 

The bags (with maps) are available after the 10:30 Sunday service and are usually delivered on your way home or that afternoon.  Muggers choose the days they wish to deliver, but many check for bags for their area every time they are at church.  The home visit is non-intrusive, very short and normally quite enjoyable for both the mugger and visitor.  Studies by other churches have shown that this technique substantially increases the chance that the first time visitors will return.

The mugging ministry also needs helpers every Sunday morning from 10:15 - 11:30 to work in the office sorting attendance forms and assembling the bags with maps for the mug deliverers.
