This article could just be a series of wonderful lyrics taken from our upcoming musical, Heart To Change the World, to be presented April 6th at 3 pm by the Music Makers Choir.  It’s a musical about missions, and every song bursts with important messages, not only for the kids, but for everyone who comes to watch these wonderful and amazingly talented children proclaim the Word in the special way that only children can.

Since September, the kids have been learning about different countries and tasting foods from around the world.  They’ve developed an awareness of the world’s needs, and have responded by reaching out in a variety of ways. 

They were especially called to the desperate need for clean water in much of the world. Many children their age have to walk up to 6 miles twice a day, every day, to retrieve & carry gallons of dirty water from a murky pond full of contaminants to their home.  On top of the health hazards the dirty water presents, they also have to forego an education due to the time it takes to get the water. Our kids decided they wanted to help.

We created a “Great Wall of Prayers” for this year’s Fair Trade market to raise funds for a well in Africa. That effort will continue with the free will offering taken at our free musical presentation.

We pray that you will join us on April 6th to receive the blessing of this very special musical.  Many months of preparation by a multitude of people will culminate in this one performance, with a Missions Fair following the performance! 

You can honor the kids’ hard work (and maybe “entangle” someone!) by inviting a friend or neighbor to attend with you!  They will not be disappointed that they came, I promise, and you will help us out as we spread the GOOD NEWS of God’s love!
