30 Hour Famine - Be seen. Be Heard. Be Hungry.

30 Hour Famine

Be Seen. Be Heard. Be Hungry.

Here's the gameplan for this year's 30 Hour Famine drive:

February 9 & 10
Sat. 7:00 p.m. to Sun. 9 a.m.

Lock-in at the church – we won’t be fasting, but we will be having fun, playing games and learning about hunger and poverty and how our actions can save lives.   We’ll also spend some time creating a special display to help our congregation understand why we do the famine.

February 22 & 23
Fri. 7 p.m. to Sat. 7 p.m.

Lock-in at church during our fast. – we’ll be going to Operation Food Search to do service work, as well as other activities. Following tradition, we will attend Saturday evening service together as a group. But, this year we will break our fast with a poverty dinner of soup and bread with others in our church community who want to support the 30 Hour Famine.

Turn in your consent form by February 3 to pick up your collection envelope and begin collecting money to save kids lives!

How can you help if you’re not doing the famine? You can:
-  Pray for our group to meet our goal.
-  Give money to someone who is doing the famine to help those around the world who suffer from hunger, poverty and lack of hope.
-  Help serve dinner on February 23.
